Question: What are SPF and UPF?
Factoid
Answer:
SPF (Sun Protection Factor) UPF (Unltraviolet Protection Factor). Both these measure the rate at which you will be protected from burning by ultra violet radiation. SPF us measured on the skin and will assess the rate of protection of any sunscreen that is applied to it. UPF is the measure of how much UV radiation passes through fabric. An SPF of 10 is exactly the same as a UPF of 10.
