"While sunscreens are still important, most of the organizations concerned with skin cancer in this country have changed their advice to wear sunprotective clothing first and use sunscreen only on the small amount of skin left exposed. This is a very important change and it has been endorsed by the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Academy of Dermatology.
